Opportunity

I worked with Found on a redesign of their existing product. Working closely with them to update their two apps and their website as well as designing a new business administration portal.

Found came to us with an existing brand and an idea that they wanted to scale. In which, we become their innovation partners and kicked off a full redesign of their existing applications which included the addition of a number of new features.

Project kickoff

To begin with, as with all of our projects we started with a discovery phase, we ran workshops with stakeholders to prioritise existing and new features and to get a sense of direction for the company. We supported this with a heuristic review of their existing products and an analysis of competitors and comparators.

Iteration and validation

From here we were able to outline the beginnings of how the products would function. We created a new IA and user flows to outline the main journeys through the website and applications. We worked closely with Found throughout this process to get feedback and sign off on each piece of work before it was completed.

Found had an existing brand which was very colourful and lively and they wanted to keep as much of it as possible in the redesign. A large portion of time was dedicated to the new functionality within the applications and business portal, and working to find ways of adding new features without adding too much onto the development time. Found worked very closely with us during this process, advising on functionality and design.

Development handover

I worked with an external development company for the front end portion of this project, which was slightly more complicated than working with our in house team. As a designer it meant making sure every single possible variation of each screen was designed alongside providing a detailed style guide. I also worked closely with them during development to answer questions, give direction and be an intermediary between themselves and Found.
